Robert joined in 2017 and focuses on fintech, enterprise software, and consumer businesses. Prior to Accel, he worked in the technology, media, and telecommunications investment banking group at Goldman Sachs, where he worked with a range of software and internet companies. He’s from New York City and graduated from Babson College.

What was your first job?
I ran the Craigslist and Facebook advertising operation for a regional car dealership in New Hampshire. It was a fun job and a great education in what small business owners care about when adopting technology (they don't buy "nice to have")!
What would you do with an hour of unexpected free time?
I'd catch up on some long-form news articles. I'm a current events junkie and especially love reading about politics and technology policy.
If you could master any skill instantly?
I'd love to speak more languages beyond English fluently. You always lose nuance if you're communicating with someone through their second language.
