Charlotte joined in 2024 as Head of Finance and is responsible for finance across the London office, funds, and portfolio. Prior to Accel, she was a principal on the fund management team at Henderson Park Capital Partners, where she led European fund operations, investor reporting, and risk management. She started her career as an audit executive at Grant Thornton, where she qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA). Charlotte graduated from University College London.

What was your first job?
My first job was as a waitress in a Victorian tea room. The focus was on traditional hand-made methods, and everything took forever to make - especially a cappuccino!
What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?
A former mentor once asked me, "What's imposter syndrome?" This question made me realize that we often create barriers and fabricate limits for ourselves. Ever since, I've been more open to opportunities (and tried to channel the same confidence!).
If you could have any superpower?
Teleportation - the ultimate carbon-neutral travel and the quickest way to see the world!
