Caroline joined in 2024 and focuses on enterprise software, consumer internet, and infrastructure technology companies. Prior to Accel, she was at Silver Lake Partners, where she invested in scaled tech and tech-enabled companies, after working in TMT investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York. She’s from the Bay Area and graduated from UC Berkeley.
Get to know Caroline
What was your first job?
My first real job was at Yogurt Park in Berkeley, where I got a crash course in family-run businesses, the importance of employee benefits (free yogurt) and the charm of regular customers. I still remember some of their orders.
Who most inspires you?
My parents who raised me in a household led by the 'Golden Rule' – treat others the way you want to be treated. My mom is the hardest working person I know with boundless curiosity, forever putting others ahead of herself. My dad leads with the highest integrity and reminds me to dream big because good things happen to good people.
If you could master any skill instantly?
I would love to master carpentry. I like the idea that I could make something useful on my own, while exercising some creativity. How cool to be able to build yourself a home (or even just a bench)!
