Rohit joined in 2023 and focuses on AI and Cloud/SaaS businesses. Prior to Accel, he was the Product and Engineering Director of two venture-backed startups in the social and web3 sectors and has experience as an ML engineer. Rohit graduated from BITS Pilani.

What’s your all-time favourite movie, TV show, OR book?
TV show has to be The Sopranos. Favourite movie would probably be Almost Famous. I'm an avid consumer of mob-centric pop culture and a rabid rock 'n' roll fan. Both of these productions scratch those itches really well :)
What was your first job?
I was a machine learning engineer. Got exposed to a ton of real world use-cases in the area of Natural Language Processing. It's funny how all the tools and tricks we employed back then have been rendered obsolete with Generative AI. None of us could've predicted that the tech would get this good, this quickly.
What’s your favourite invention or innovation?
It would be one of the iPods or GarageBand. The iPod because, for the first time ever, you could take your entire music collection with you in your pocket. GarageBand because it enabled anyone even remotely musical to turn their ideas into songs without paying for professional gear and services. Together, they changed the course of music.
