Pratik joined in 2019 and focuses on AI, consumer, and Cloud/SaaS. Prior to Accel, he helped set up the SaaS investing practice at SAIF Partners. Pratik grew up in Rajasthan, India, and graduated from IIT Delhi and Harvard.

Who most inspires you?
Leonardo da Vinci inspires me the most because of his boundless curiosity and ability to seamlessly blend art, science, and invention. I admire his wide-ranging curiosity and the courage to pursue any idea, no matter how unconventional, with a fearless drive for discovery, which I aspire to cultivate in my own life.
What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?
Quite a few times in my life, I've failed to achieve things I dedicated years of my life to. In those tough moments, my mother often reminds me, 'Whatever happens doesn’t just happen for the good but for the absolute best, as nature often has bigger plans for us that we may not yet see.' Over the years, I've come to deeply appreciate this wisdom, and it has helped build my resilience.
What’s your go-to productivity hack?
My favourite productivity hack is 'working backwards'. By envisioning the end goal and then planning the steps required to get there, I’m able to focus on what truly matters and stay efficient along the way.
