Sarthak joined in 2022 and focuses on early-stage consumer business. Prior to Accel, he was a founding team member of Info Edge Ventures, an early-stage investment fund, and served as a Strategy Associate to the Minister of State for Civil Aviation. He’s from Delhi and graduated from BITS.

Who most inspires you?
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, for his grit, passion, and self-belief. MSD came from no man's land with no infrastructure or history of producing any national player. He balanced cricket with the job of small-town ticket collector, was not part of any elite cricket circuit, started playing nationals late at 23, and was highly criticized for his unconventional batting technique, but "Dhoni finishes in style!"
What's something people are surprised to learn about you?
I spent 1.5 years living on the outskirts of Hazaribagh, a tier 3 city, helping a Cabinet Minister contest and win the Lok Sabha election. Managing a constituency of 2 million people in the ruralmost belt of Jharkhand, I was introduced to an India I had never seen. This experience played a critical role in helping me understand rural India and in defining my deep interest in Bharat opportunities.
