Flo joined Accel in 2024 and focuses on growth investments. Prior to Accel, she worked at Bain Capital’s Tech Opportunities fund in late-stage venture and growth buyout. She grew up in Hong Kong and graduated from Princeton.

Who most inspires you?
Hands down, my mama! Not only is she a distinguished professor of finance and beloved mentor to Chinese robotics entrepreneurs, she is a lifelong learner, contemporary art gallerist, and selfless single mom of two. Because of her, I have never doubted that women can do it all.
What's something people are surprised to learn about you?
I moved around a lot growing up and went to six schools between Asia and the US before college. Being exposed to such different ways of life and thinking at a young age made me insatiably curious about understanding people, and also questioning of any one status quo. The changes were hard but I’m thankful now knowing friends and homes in so many parts of the world.
What's the most impactful piece of advice you've received?
“Trust the process.” We can’t ultimately control outcomes in life, only our inputs. Show up, be present for the journey, have faith, and have fun with it!
