What's something people are surprised to learn about you?
People often underestimate how much I love adrenaline-fueled sports. My favourite adventures include a 2-day hike through the frozen Zion Narrows, biking in 13,000 feet altitude in the Atacama desert, and surfing off a fisherman’s boat in Lombok Island.
What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?
My college golf coach taught me – to always accept and expect ~5 mistakes each round. When mistakes happen – stay zen and carry on, it can still be your best round yet. I played my personal best after completely botching holes 1 & 2 with double bogeys.
What was your first job?
After kindergarten, my sister and I would collect sea shells from the beach and try selling them in our apartment lobby. Surprise, surprise – no one bought any, no matter how hard we tried. It’s tough to sell sea shells when the beach is only 5 minutes away.
