Vatsal joined Accel in 2023 as Head of Content and Communications. He leads content strategy for SeedToScale and manages media relations for the firm. Vatsal grew up in Mumbai and graduated from St. Stephen's College and INSEAD.

What was your first job?
Trading foreign exchange and commodity futures at India's largest proprietary trading house at the time. Tried to make sense of the world and global macro one stop loss at a time.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My 3-year-old Labrador, Dexter. He is the best stress buster and his goofy energy and antics makes life way more fun.
What’s your all-time favorite movie, TV show, OR book?
As a poker enthusiast, Doyle Brunson's book 'Super System' was one of the first books on poker which I read. Published in the 70s, this book was perhaps way ahead of its time and introduced the quantitative side of things (odds, EV, etc.) to understand risk reward.
