Jonathan joined in 2022 and focuses on enterprise software and consumer businesses. Prior to Accel, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the technology investment banking group. He’s from the Bay Area and graduated from UC Berkeley.

What was your first job?
My grandma used to run a small tax preparation clinic — back in grade school, during peak tax season, she would pay me $20 a day to put organizer stickers on client folders (before it all became electronic) and arrange them in alphabetical order.
If you could master any skill instantly?
I've been on a poker tear over the past few years. Would probably save me a lot of time, heartache, and money if I could master it instantly.
What would you do with an hour of unexpected free time?
Optimally get through my to-dos, more likely listen to a news podcast or read all the day's major opinion sections. Most likely scroll twitter and snack…
