What was your first job?
I figured early on in school that I had a knack for arts and crafts. For a couple of years, I sold whatever I could make—portraits to teachers, cool hand-crafted accessories to friends—for neat little sums to buy snacks after class.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My dependable pair of headphones – whether it's taking a call, listening to podcasts, or putting on some background music while I focus on work, I'm usually found wearing them throughout the day. It's probably the best (personal) investment I've made.
What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?
"Nothing is as good or as bad as it seems" - a Morgan Housel quote from his book, gifted by a good friend. Early-stage investors go through bouts of optimism and pessimism daily, and it sometimes becomes important to keep a level head through it all.
