Tim Rawlinson

Tim joined in 2022 and focuses on enterprise software, fintech, and consumer internet businesses. Prior to Accel, he was an investor on General Atlantic's technology team. He is originally from London and graduated from Yale University.

What’s your favourite invention or innovation?

The steam engine - it powered the Industrial Revolution, resulting in the most rapid improvement in living standards in human history. It was also invented in Britain!

What's something people are surprised to learn about you?

Despite being incredibly British, I love America. It’s where I went to college and started my career. I’m lucky to go back often, where people are more accepting of my love of country music.

If you could have any superpower?

Teleportation - life’s too short to be stuck on airplanes!
