Mahendran Balachandran

Mahendran joined in 2008 and focuses on consumer, enterprise, and fintech businesses. Prior to his career in investing, he held several business leadership roles including at Apple and Tektronix. He graduated from IIM Bangalore and NITW.

What was your first job?

My first job was at TVS Electronics. I learned a lot of skills as I was assigned to the printer project team, including a short course in speaking Japanese.

What’s your favourite invention or innovation?

The mobile phone because it's an all-in-one device.

What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?

Nothing is difficult if you spend enough time on it.
