Deeksha Bhandari

Deeksha joined Accel in 2017 and is AVP, Ecosystem Development, focused on building and strengthening Accel’s founder ecosystem through strategic partnerships and long-term value creation. She works closely with founders and ecosystem partners to accelerate GTM outcomes for early-and growth-stage companies, focusing particularly on AI, through curated programs and strategic collaborations.

Prior to this role, Deeksha led Accel’s talent efforts in India, helping entrepreneurs build strong leadership teams and scale executive hiring. She graduated from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and the London School of Economics.

What was your first job?

I interned at a nonprofit, helping underserved communities gain access to digital literacy programs. It was an eye-opening experience that instilled in me a deep respect for technology's ability to change lives.

What's the most impactful piece of advice you received?

"Put people at the heart of everything you do." This advice reminds me that whether it's business or personal, it’s all about human connections. It drives the work I do!

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

I’d choose the power to speak every language. I’d love to connect with people from all over the world without barriers—there’s so much to learn from different cultures and perspectives.

What is your most used emoji, gif, or meme?

If I had to pick, my most used emoji would be the 👯♂️ (dancing twins) because I'm always up vibing with the crowd! As for memes, the "Squad Goals" meme is totally my style—because nothing beats fun, effortless connections!
