Ben joined in 2016 and focuses on AI, cloud, and enterprise companies. Prior to Accel, he worked at Google and before that at Apple. He's from Vienna, Virginia, and graduated from Brigham Young University.

What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?
"Hard work is fun – it's what allows us to get ahead" from my father. He always told me this was the one thing we could control – how hard we work; my mother instilled in me to do it with a positive attitude.
If you could have any superpower?
I would slow down time. I love my job – I also have two young boys (5 and 3) and I want time to slow down and for them to stay these ages forever. I am enjoying every minute of work and life.
What would you do with an hour of unexpected free time?
I would slip away and play pickleball. I'm extremely competitive and I love to get in a good sweat. The obsession is real – 5.0 is within reach.
