Vas joined in 2010 and focuses on early-stage companies in the data infrastructure, API, and enterprise software spaces. He is active with Accel’s India practice and helps drive the firm’s Tech Council initiatives. He’s originally from Augusta, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.

What’s the most impactful piece of advice you’ve received?
“Master the inputs” — and the results will take care of themselves. From an old mentor of mine who already gets enough SEO, thus will remain nameless.
What would you do with an hour of unexpected free time?
I’d hang with the fam! I’ve got a new baby at home, a sweet Aussie Labradoodle, and an amazing wife who keeps it all together.
What's something people are surprised to learn about you?
I grew up in the (deep) south, which hopefully explains the occasional ‘Howdy’, ‘ya’ll,’ or ‘alright alright alright’.
