Eric joined in 2014 and focuses on enterprise infrastructure companies, working with founders across the enterprise stack. Prior to Accel, he was president of the products group at Riverbed, where he oversaw the growth of its flagship WAN optimization and app acceleration platforms. Eric is from the Bay Area and graduated from Pepperdine and NYU.

What’s your all-time favorite movie, TV show, or book?
Lord of the Rings. The unbelievably imaginative context, good vs evil both between and within living creatures, the many forms and shapes of power, and an unsuspecting underdog who emerges as the multidimensional victor and seemingly doesn’t let it go to his head are a few of the reasons why.
What’s your favorite invention or innovation?
The internet/www. It unleashed an explosion of creativity and value for consumers, business, individuals, families, groups ……kind of a global awaking.
If you could master any skill instantly?
Stand up comedy. Who doesn’t like to laugh? In addition to feeling good in the moment, I also often walk away with more perspective. Maybe lighter… maybe taking myself a bit less seriously. A fun blessing for others.
